Put this on your radar
A hidden gem with amazing beach views! The spacious rooms were comfortable, and we enjoyed the scenic backdrop of the waves crashing. Dining offers fine vistas too, but prepare for potentially slow service. For a amazing experience, definitely consider an ocean view room. A perfect destination for nature lovers!

Amazing area, remote location near the beach and the river, and the pub. Big sized and contemporary unit with a contemporary decor.

The hotel was a superb base for enjoying a fabulous area, short walk to the beaches along the Tasman Sea, the coast against the Tasman Sea, and large trucks. It was a nice size with great beds, good enough for one night. A fridge and a microwave were nice. The location was absolutely fabulous and best possible, for example, Punakaiki Cavern was relatively close to the property. There was an award-winning restaurant nearby.

Clean and exceptional place with very honest staff with the member of staff. Stunning, incredible location on the wild west coast. Close enough to the rugged coastline, the beach-impressed and the center of the walkway.

Check for a room with a higher elevation to enjoy better ocean views and less exposure to pesky sand flies during your stay.

Location & view
Needed a google map & discription of exactly where it was as we arrived in the dark and had to guess (if I didn't have some local knowledge it would of been much harder).

Location next to the blowhole was great and the food at the restaurant was great (even if a little expensive).
The room was a bit basic for the price paid. Also obviously hadn't been used for awhile as the room was very musty.

Fantastic Location with Fine Views
We loved the clean and cozy beach view room with amazing views over the ocean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options included in our rate. The only downside was the limited wifi access, a bit frustrating.
